Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data X-Combo Hub collects, why it is collected, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as the site needs to work.

1. What we collect

• Account data: your email address, username and display name.
• Profile data you choose to add: avatar, bio and website link.
• Activity: the combos and comments you publish, and the likes, dislikes and bookmarks you leave.
• Technical data: the standard request logs a web server keeps, kept only as long as they are useful for debugging and abuse handling.

We do not collect data about your car and we have no connection to it. Everything on this site is text you typed yourself.

2. Why we collect it

• To run your account and let you sign in.
• To attribute the combos and comments you publish.
• To send the emails the site needs to send: address verification and password resets.
• To keep the site usable: rate limits, reports and moderation.

There is no advertising, no profiling and no analytics that identify you.

3. What is public

Your display name, username, avatar, bio, website link, published combos and comments are visible to everyone. Your email address, your votes and your bookmarks are not.

4. Where the data is stored

The site and its database run on servers located in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany and Finland). Transactional email is delivered through Resend. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except where needed to deliver those emails or where the law requires it.

5. Cookies

Only essential cookies are used: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and a CSRF token that protects forms. There are no tracking or advertising cookies, so there is nothing to consent to.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, its correction, or its deletion. You can do most of it yourself:

• Correct your name, username, avatar, bio and website in your profile settings.
• Delete your account from the same page, choosing whether your combos stay online anonymously or are removed with everything else.

Deleting your account destroys your email address, avatar, votes and bookmarks immediately. If you choose to keep your combos, they stay online credited to “Deleted User” and can no longer be traced back to you.

7. Retention

Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. Once you delete it, personal data is destroyed straight away.
